DelValley Home Inspections, LLC is owned and operated by Mark Desmond.  Mark brings over 25 years of home construction and renovation experience to each inspection he performs.  He was a contractor and master carpenter and specialized in finish work and historical renovation.

Mark started in the home inspection industry in 2001 and achieved ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) certification in 2002.  ASHI certification requires one to preform 250 fee paid inspections, submit the reports to a review board, and pass a national exam.  To maintain certification, Mark must attain MRCs (memer renewal credits) on an annual basis.  Mark attains these credits by attending ASHI accredited classes throughout the year on subjects related to electrical work, plumbing, roofing, radon, and many other areas directly related to homes and home construction.

In addition to his ASHI certification, Mark is a certified Lead-Risk Assessor in the state of Delaware and is a member of the New Castle County Board of Realtors. Mark Is also licensed to preform Radon testing and Mitigation though the state of PA Department of Environmental Protecting.
