Meet Our Company’s Owner
As the owner and operator of DelValley Home Inspections, LLC, Mark Desmond brings 25 years of home construction and renovation experience to his inspection work. Before establishing our company in 2002, he was a contractor and master carpenter specializing in finish work and historical renovation.
Mark started in the home inspection industry in 2001 and was certified by the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) the following year. ASHI certification requires one to perform 250 fee-paid inspections, submit reports to a review board, and pass a national exam. Since being certified, he has conducted hundreds of inspections for clients in Delaware.
He maintains his certification by attaining member renewal credits annually. To earn these credits, he attends ASHI-accredited classes throughout the year on subjects directly related to homes and home construction, including:
